Review: Biel Watches Marble Watch Stand
Let's face it: the watch accessory market is saturated. However, if you need something specific for your or someone else's special collection, you can often find it. As someone who fancies being a savvy consumer, I have become a regular customer of some brands simply out of familiarity and, quite frankly, boredom. When I came across the Biel Watches Handcrafted Watch Stand, I was startled awake by the apparent form, function, and finishing.
Biel Watches provided the channel with a model of the watch stand for review. I was immediately impressed with the stand's build quality and finishing. The marble base is well-balanced and sturdy, with a smooth surface and beveled edges. A Biel Watches logo blends nicely with the bold and unique patterns only marble can provide. A soft felt base liner protects whatever surface you place the stand on and eliminates any noise caused by movement.
Rising out of the marble base is a black metal pole topped by a natural leather pillow. The leather is well-stitched and supple. Most of my bracelets are 7 1/2" (19.05cm) in length, and there is plenty of room between the bottom of the pillow and the bracelet. This nice touch allows for airflow, eliminating any chance of a gunk building up on your watch stand. The stand's entire pole and pillow portion is solid, and Biel Watches even includes a hex wrench should the base eventually need to be tightened or disassembled and stored for moving.

The Biel Watches Handcrafted Marble Watch Stand is the perfect item or gift for enthusiasts who need the perfect frame for their horological masterpieces. In the future, it would be nice to see Biel Watches sell these in sets and offer a slight discount for purchasing multiples. The sets would look very sharp lined up or spread through a space, especially with the unique patterns of the marble. Watch enthusiasts deserve their little timepiece museum, and the Biel Watches Handcrafted Marble Watch Stand provides that. After all, what good are pieces of horological art that are squirreled away and hidden from our eyes?
